About HAB Heiwerken b.v..

History and Organisation
HAB (Hei- en Adviesbureau J. de Bruijn) was founded in 1971 by Jan de Bruijn from Lekkerkerk (NL). The company started out providing maintenance work for Gasunie and then expanded into sheetpiling activities for the gas pipelines industry. After liquidation in 1978, the newly formed company regained its footing and relocated to a new site at Groot Ammers in 1990. In 2006, the company was sold to A. de Heer from Polsbroek, who sold the business to Staaldam Beheer B.V. in 2010. In the summer of 2011, the company moved to Eembrugge where it now shares premises with its sister company  Sterk Midden Nederland.

Activities
HAB has developed into a modern, internationally operating foundations specialist for earth- and water-retaining constructions.
Since its takeover by the Staaldam group in 2010, it has intensified its activities in the European energy market.
This has led to collaboration with large pipeline constructors on major projects mainly in Germany, France and the Benelux.
